James Branch Cabell letters and photographs taken in Fluntern Cemetery, Zurich, Switzerland [manuscript], 1919, 1958.

In a series of letters to Charles C. Baldwin, Cabell forwards requested books, refuses to send an autobiographical sketch, comments on Baldwin's "ghastly" task of writing "The men who make our novels," notes that many of his opinions are in "Beyond Life," looks forward to his book and expresses "a desire to empoison your wholesome view of things...." The collection also contains photographs by Linton R. Massey of the grave of Thomas Mann and a wooden cross marking the grave of James Joyce in Fluntern Cemetery, Zurich, Switzerland, and of the house where Lenin lived in exile.
